Cubesspiel is an Operational/Strategic military wargame. Players will play through the entire length of the war, from its chaotic opening, through an attritional mid-phase, before a cataclysmic finale.
The game is driven by player choice. Want to send the British to the Eastern Front instead of the West? Go for it. Want to deploy German forces to the Middle East instead of Italy? Your choice. Were tanks were the missing ingredient from the Austro-Hungarian war machine? Time to find out. The game sets you up with the historical deployments, and will guide you with some historical events, but conduct of the war is down to your decisions and the outcome, down to your play. Try to improve on history, or forge your own path in the war to end all wars. |
