Every student at Trope High has a secret.
Got sent back in time to get your parents together – but you still need to get an A on your midterm. Maybe you’re a vampire who longs to be in the drama club. And the most popular girl in school will die if anyone finds out she’s the headteacher’s kid… Players at Trope High Most players will take on a role as a senior year student at Trope High School, and will be placed in one of seven cliques:
Each player will also be given one or more secret plots, that a generally individual to that character. There are also a limited number of places for experienced megagamers to play Teachers. |
Game structureThe game takes place over one academic year, with turns lasting an indeterminate length of time approximately equal to "one episode".
During each turn, players will be taking part in lessons and extra-curricular activities, as well as attending that turn's special event (e.g. College Elections, S.A.T.s., The Big Game, Prom). Secretly, they will also be taking actions to further their secret plots. This includes Night Actions, which are resolved secretly by Control, and using cards with special abilities on. |
