In the grim darkness of the future, there is only The Law. And his name strikes dread in the heart of perps, ahem, crims. Mind you, nobody expects the imperial inquisition either. As colony miners head to the cities to spend their annual bonus, gang leaders look to carve out new territory and take their cut of the wealth.
A desperate grapple for power between the law and the lawless at the far flung edges of the Galaxy. Intrigue and corruption run riot in the spires and sewers of a colony overpopulated, overstretched and overlooked.
